Done Wright was born in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn, NY and raised in South Side Jamaica, Queens. Growing up watching rap greats such as Nas, Jay Z and B.I.G; he became motivated to be a rapper. As a youngster he would watch the park jams since they were right across the street from his house and became more influenced by rap music. Even though growing up being surrounded by thugs, drugs and violence he was so deep into the music that he was able to dodge some of the negativity that came with living in a poverty stricken environment. Done attended George Westinghouse High School in Downtown Brooklyn, a vocational High School also attended by great rappers such as Jay Z, The Notorious B.I.G and Busta Rhymes. His debut album "Penny 2 A Million" was released on Lighthouse Music Group in December of 2009 which was bootlegged on the Streets. He has been featured on countless mixtapes and his mixtape "Destined For Greatness" (hosted by DJ Vlad) was rated 4.5 stars in issue #11 of Coast 2 Coast Magazine. Coast 2 Coast Magazine described Done as having a “cool and confident flow, displaying solid content and a catchy kind of style”. Done’s music video "Free" was launched with a national campaign through his own independent record label HardWork Entertainment which aired on Demand - Havoc TV, Power Play Music TV and numerous digital cable TV networks through out the U.S. and Canada. His prior videos have been featured on top premier websites and countless blogs. He has performed at numerous venues throughout the tri-state area and his current single “Thrill” is now receiving thousands of streams on all digital platforms.
